About Us

Russell Barlow is the director of South Auckland Electrical Ltd, he started his own electrical business in 1983. Russell did his apprenticeship with NZ Post and then worked as a maintenance electrician for NZ Steel, Kiwi Packaging, Nestle, thus gaining valuable experience in fault finding and fixing faults under pressure .

Russell’s strength is industrial automation, control and heavy motor starting.

Tom Rae has been working with us since 1995 and is very experienced at all aspects of Industrial Electrical work and large plants. A  strong industrial background.

David Witt has been working  with us since 1993, he also has a lot of industrial experience and is our new house wiring guru.

Simon Fry– we call on Simon for IT and PLC programming and fault finding.

We have a pool of motivated self-employed contractors that we use for larger projects. We are big on service and knowledge and we love a challenge.  Our whole team prides itself on their workmanship and doing a job  efficiently,  in a cost effective manner.  South Auckland Electrical Ltd has a strong record of retaining and satisfying clients through our work ethic and excellent knowledge of industrial  electrical requirements.

We have vast experience, in the designing and building of electrical systems for automated machines, plant maintenance, fault finding and installation of new plant and machinery.
